Kennel and driving school for children
Program: Creation of a school and a kennel
Location: São Paulo, Brazil
Project type: Student clientele project
Year : 2025
This project was designed by Sofia Chedid, a third-year student at ENSA Paris Belleville, who approached me for advice on certain aspects of her work as well as for the creation of photorealistic renderings.
It is an architectural exploration focused on the interaction between learning and animal well-being, combining a kennel and a children's driving school within the same space. At the heart of the site, a large driving track allows children to put their theoretical knowledge into practice in an immersive environment. A mock school, a mock police station, fictional firefighters, as well as parking areas and circulation zones enrich this playful experience.
The educational spaces include two classrooms, a cafeteria, administrative offices, and a nurse's station, covering all the practical and theoretical needs of the children.
The kennel, on the other hand, was designed to provide dogs with various outdoor spaces, while integrating a veterinary service in harmony with the overall project. The path, from the parking lot to the different kennels, was conceived to offer a smooth and immersive experience for visitors.
The architecture focuses on simplicity and sustainability, utilizing natural light, ventilation, and optimized circulation. The layout of the spaces ensures a harmonious coexistence between the different functions.
This place is not limited to an educational facility: it embodies a vision where learning, play, and respect for living beings come together to offer an enriching experience for future generations.
